Powers and Roots

OBJECTIUS

• To present a lexical set of words for students to undestand and work with Powers and roots
• To practice pronunciation of the words with the class
• To reinforce the language by providing students with tasks which invite them to use the language
• Workout exercises by playing and improve in the language competence involving four skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing)
• To introduce powers ans roots practical activities in order to engage the student

DURADA: 3 sessions

CONTINGUTS: Continguts corresponents al tema 1 del currículum de matemàtiques de 1r d'ESO

AUXILIAR DE CONVERSA:

Realitza la part d'introduir nou vocabulari (modelling new vocabulary); els alumnes tenen la fonologia de les paraules. En la resta d'activitats, quan treballen en grups/parelles, té el mateix paper que el professor: corregeix la pronunciacio, dóna instruccions i guia les activitats.
