What him the energetic certification?

The qualification of energetic efficiency is the result of the calculation of the necessary energy consumption to satisfy the energetic demand  of the building in normal conditions of functioning and of employment. It  classifies the buildings in a scale of seven letters, where the letter G corresponds in the less efficient building and the letter To i n the most efficient building according to the energy consumption and the emissions  of CO₂ compared with a building basis of similar typology and location.

The certification of energetic efficiency is the process by which a qualification of energetic efficiency is conceded in a building in the form of certificate of energetic efficiency. It also includes the administrative formality by which the certificate is validated and it registers in the Register of energetic efficiency certificates of buildings of Balears . The energetic certification of the buildings can be carried out using one of the  following options:

• General option: the certification can be carried out through the computer program Calener-VYP in the case of houses  and buildings destined to small and medium tertiary one, or Calener-GT in the case of buildings of the Tertiary Big sector. Both programs are free and are part of the documents recognized of the Energetic Certification of Buildings in Spain.
• Simplified option: for buildings of new construction the CES,mentre can be used that for buildings of new construction residential the CERMA can be used. For the case of existing buildings the simplified procedure can be used CE3 or the CE3X.
