Olea europaea var. 'Empeltre' is a variety of cultivated olive in the Mediterranean area and is used for the production of olive oil. In weary Balearic Islands, the oil of this variety "Oil of Mallorca" is commercialized together with other varieties under the DOP. The obtained oils from esta variety they are very appreciated in its|his|her|their region of origin.
