The LIFE AdaptCalaMillor project consists of 10 partners from both public and private entities with multidisciplinary profiles: regional and local authorities, business associations, research institutes and environmental foundations.

La The Directorate General of Circular Economy, Energy Transition and Climate Change is the competent body that leads the regional regulation on climate change and collaborates closely with various public administrations, at local, regional and national level, including members participating in the governing bodies for climate change adaptation Illes Balears. In the context of the Balearic Strategy, it promotes sectoral vulnerability studies, such as the PIMA ADAPTA COSTAS project (2018-2021), to support the planning of adaptive measures in the coastal areas of the Balearic Islands. |

Since 2013, the City Council of Son Servera, the City Council of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar and the Hotel Association Badia de Cala Millor-Sa Coma established the Consorci de Turisme de Son Servera i Sant Llorenç des Cardassar. The main purpose of this organization is to promote and boost tourism in the corresponding municipalities. The tourist area covers approximately 35,000 places and occupies the third place in importance among the destinations of the Balearic Islands. |

La The Conama Foundation is a non-profit organization created to advance environmental sustainability in Spain. Since 1992, they have organized the National Environmental Congress, bringing together a diverse and multi-sectoral set of experts, policy makers and professionalson a wide range of environmental and sustainability issues. It has an extensive experience in the creation and management of working groups, generating spaces for dialogue between different sectors (civil society, public administration, companies, universities, technology centers), and in the communication and dissemination of results. |

El The Institute of Environmental Hydraulics of the University of Cantabria (IHCantabria) is a public research center whose objective is to promote and support basic and applied research and the development of studies, methodologies and tools for the integrated management of aquatic ecosystems. Together with the University of Cantabria, it will contribute with its Engineering Group and knowledge of Coastal Management, supporting and adding value to the incorporation of long-term adaptation measures/strategies in the physical dimension of the urban beach of Cala Millores. |

El The Mediterranean Institute for Advanced Studies, IMEDEA (CSIC-UIB),is a joint research center between the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB). Integrating specialists in diverse disciplines such as ecology, microbiology, paleontology, physics, oceanography, engineering, computer science and mathematics, IMEDEA promotes a unique collaborative research environment. Its focus is on research and dissemination of scientific knowledge, especially in marine, coastal and island ecosystems, with a global perspective and a particular interest in the Mediterranean region. In addition, it works in the search for solutions to societal challenges in environmental issues, addressing issues such as climate change, impact on the natural environment, protection of ecosystems and biodiversity, and natural resource management. |

This architecture, planning, urban and landscape design office will integrate the results of the scientific studies of Cala Millor, together with the results of the participatory governance process to define a project that will make possible the long-term adaptation of this urban beach. LANDLAB has worked on climate change adaptation projects designing resilient landscapes using mainly nature-based measures and structures. |

El The Balearic Islands Coastal Observing and Forecasting System (SOCIB) is a Singular Scientific and Technical Infrastructure (ICTS) created to advance knowledge, understanding and sustainable management of the global ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. The SOCIB ICTS operates an observation and forecasting system that continuously monitors the western Mediterranean, collecting data through multiple platforms, including high frequency coastal radars, integral beach monitoring systems, autonomous underwater gliders, lagrangian observation platforms (ARGO profilers and surface drifting buoys), oceanographic buoys, meteorological and sea level stations, and the Oceanographic Vessel (B/O SOCIB). The ocean data collected, of strategic value in marine research, can be consulted in real time and in open access through the institutional repository of the ICTS SOCIB. This information provides ocean forecasts of proven quality that the ICTS SOCIB offers through its prediction models. |

La Universidad de les Illes Balears The University of the Balearic Islands is the main research and higher education institution in the Balearic Islands, contributing to 90% of regional research. The UIB has participated in more than 70 European research projects. In particular, it has worked jointly with CSIC-IMEDEA in projects on marine climate and coastal adaptation. |

The objective of the Hotel Association of Badia de Cala Millor and Sa Coma, is the representation, defense, promotion and management of the common interests of its members and the accommodation sector of the destination, creating synergies with the municipalities of Son Servera and Sant Llorenç d' es Cardassar, to make the destination of the Badia de Cala Millor & Sa Coma, a competitive tourist destination while sustainable. |
