Adaptation alternatives: coastal berm park

The LIFE Adapt Cala Millor project analyses different adaptation strategies to respond to the impacts of climate change on the beach and the coastal front of the bay. These strategies have been defined based on the combination of scientific information on the future evolution of the coastline, the socioeconomic analysis of the area, and a consultation process with the different stakeholder groups in the territory.

The images shown below make it possible to compare the current situation with the proposals for transforming the coastal front associated with the alternatives that are in the final assessment phase. These visualisations help to understand how the seafront promenade and the coastal park could evolve depending on the different adaptation options that are currently under evaluation.
