ANNUAL PLAN FOR SUSTAINABLE TOURISM 2017
On July 7, 2017, Balearic Governing Council ratified the Annual Plan for the Promotion of Sustainable Tourism for 2017, approved by the Sustainable Tourism Promotion Commission on July 4, 2017, and ordered its publication in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands.
The 2017 Annual Plan set as annual priority objectives of projects to be funded under the Sustainable Tourism Promotion Fund:
- acquisition or rehabilitation of natural, historical and cultural heritage
- diversification of the economic model
- improvement of natural environment and water cycle
Nevertheless, all environmental projects have been considered priority in accordance with the provisions of article 19.3 of the Law.
