  • Accounts|Bills of user
    Each user of the network|net of the CAIB has an account|bill of particular user, and adapted depending on the needs of its|his|her|their job. Among other particularities, the mentioned account|bill establishes to|in which working party (general direction, etc) the user is ascribed, and therefore, which space in disk|record of group he|she|it will be able to access.

    All the estàn accounts|bills of user proteges through a contrassenya, personal and untransferable, of which the only responsible is the user himself, and that has to fulfill a series of rulers so that it|he|she is valid.

    The users of the network|net of the CAIB receive crowd|mass of services and computer resources|appeals, frequently of a considerable economic|economical cost, and in exchange, they have to promise to use them in the possible most effective and safe|sure way, as well as to respect the rules of behavior established.

  • Space in disk|record (individual and of group)
    The CPD assigns space in disk|record so many at personal level (unit H:, initial of the English word Man, "house|home") as a level of working party (unit G: ), likewise majority of applications (P:) is ordered of a unit

    With the objective of a better exploitation of the available resources|appeals, so much the space in individual disk|record as of group he orders of some maximum quotas of employment|occupation (by default, at the units H: he|she|it settles|establishes at 100 MBS), therefore, it is responsibility of the users to maintain|sustain them at the level of employment|occupation more low possible, using because of that the available tools of compression.

    All the space in disk|record offered by the CPD is protected by daily backup copies.

  • Electronic mail
    The CPD is conscious of nowadays the system more used for the sending and reception of information being the electronic mail, at internal level as well as in the relations|relationships with the exterior, therefore, it|he|she offers it|him|her how a basic service to|in its|his|her|their community of users.
    The access to the mentioned mail can be made well via WEB through the direction http://correu.caib.es,  or through a Lotus Notes customer of mail.

  • Office automation
    The office computer tools that at present the CPD offers are the included in the Microsoft Office package 97:

  • Attention to the user (HelpDesk)
    The CPD puts at the disposal of its|his|her|their users a service of computer incidences resolution, also called HelpDesk, composed by thirteen operators. He is the responsible for solving the incidences of first level, and climbing the incidences of second level in the area of Technique of Systems or to|in that of Administration and Support.

  • Technical assistance in situ
    For those cases in which the remote assistance is not sufficient, and the own computer service does not have availability to attend|serve to them, there is a team|equipment composed by six technicians that it|he|she will travel|move until the place of the incidence.
