THE NATURE RESERVE OF SES SALINES OF EIVISSA AND FORMENTERA

General description: this spaces it|he|she encompasses a whole|set of terrestrial and sea habitats, with ecological, landscape, historical and cultural values of first order. One of its|his|her|their main characteristics is the reception of important aquatic and sea populations of birds nidificants, hibernating and migrant, besides an important number of species of endemic flora and fauna of the Islands Balearic.

Surface|Area: 15.396,90 hectares (13.610,58 sea hectares and 1.786,32 terrestrial hectares).

Situation: it|he is placed between the south of the island of Eivissa and the north of the island of Formentera, to|in the municipal areas of Sant Josep de sa Talaia and of Formentera.

Uses and allowed activities:

• The observation of the fauna and the flora.

• The extraction or collection of fauna and flora in the terrestrial area as well as in the sailor.
