THE NATURE RESERVE OF THE PENINSULA OF LLEVANT

General description: this Nature Reserve is constituted for different Mediterranean habitats such as|how the oak wood, wild olive groves and pinewoods, the cliffs, are the sandy beaches, the torrents, that they combine with the created agricultural ecosystems to the length of the time|weather, forming one of the zones of landscape richer and several of Mallorca.

Surface|Area: 1.407,09 terrestrial hectares.

Situation: the Nature Reserve is placed in the northeast of the island of Mallorca in the peninsula of Llevant, in the municipal area of Artà.

WHAT CAN YOU MAKE THERE?

Uses and allowed activities:

• The observation of the fauna and the flora.
• The forest exploitations that do not modify the composition, structure and ecological functioning|operation of the vegetation.
• The extensive pasture and the recollecció of wild fruits, asparaguses, mushrooms and esclatasangs, leaf of palm and other products of traditional recollecció.
• The vehicular traffic for paths|ways and avenues.
• Carrying out non professional photographs without going out of the itineraries.
• All those that do not alter the landscape, natural and cultural values of the Park.

Uses and activities that require written authorization|accreditation:

• The scientific studies that imply recollecció of samples|exhibitions or environmental alterations.
• The sport activities field a través without vehicles motorized, as the races of cross or of orientation and the cyclist races are all-purpose vehicles.
• The construction of water tanks with agricultural or farming purposes and for the fight against the forest fires.

Uses and prohibited activities:

• The non authorized recollecció of minerals and paleontological remains.
• The dump|spill of solid waste and debris in the torrents and in|on its|his|her|their surroundings.
• The deterioration or elimination of the natural vegetation.
• The allòctones introduction of species of flora.
• Bothering the wild fauna, with the exception of the activity cinegètica and fishing authorized.
• The introduction, transgenic breeding|calf or crop|growing of species or races.
• The hunting to|in the nature reserves of the head|boss Ferrutx and of the head|boss from Freu.
