Business Agent Authorization Waste (Facilities and/or operators)

They come off subjected to regime d´autorització:
- The facilities where operations of treatment of waste, storage previous to the treatment and classification, as well as l´ampliació, substantial modification or transfer from this installation go to develop.
- The physical or juridical persons who carry out these operations.

Requisites

Physical or juridical persons who carry out activities of treatment, storage previous to the treatment and classification of waste in the territorial area of the Balearic Islands.

Periods

Presencialment, in the Ministry of Environment, in the delegations of Menorca and Eivissa, and to any public administration.

Observations

In the case of sol•licitar authorization for some instal•lacions is necessary a previous inspection. Moreover, it will be exigible to establish a bail and a financial guarantee in the case of waste dangerous and for the non dangerous waste when a rule specifies it dictates it. These guarantees will be established by l’administració in the formality of l’autorització.
If l’operador of the instal•lació is the owner of the same one an only authorization will be processed.
Once received the sol•licitud they will ask for themselves amendments of deficiencies if it is necessary and the resolution of l’administració will be communicated to the persons concerned.
If more d’una instal•lació, s’ha d’emplenar the information d’instal•lació of the sol•licitud for each one d’elles, is had.
These authorizations s’atorguen for a period of determinate time not superior to 8 years and they will be automatically renewable.
