The General Direction of Inside|Inland, Emergencies and Justice will give support and will collaborate in the second edition of the Mallorca IronMan 70.3 that will develop tomorrow in the town of Alcúdia. The DGIEJ makes at the disposal the means|media human and material of the organization for the good development of the test|proof: the UCA (Unit of Advanced Command) that will be used as center of coordination and meeting point of the participant organizations|organisms, a carp PMA of support of this, 10 teams|equipments Tetra of communications for the coordination between the organizations|organisms and 1 vessel and 2 aquatic motorbikes for the test|proof of swimming. Moreover, 50 volunteers of Civil Protection will give support to the participants and visiting public, a technician of the Operating Unit of Emergencies in the UCA and an agent of the UOP responsible for the coordination of the voluntary workers. 

This second edition of the triathlon, the same as in the first, it|he|she combines three sport modalities: a circuit of swimming that will be carried out in the zone of the Port of Alcúdia, a career cyclist who will cross the mountains of the North of Mallorca and a marathon on foot in a circuit around the Beach of Alcúdia.

The test|proof closed the inscription on 2 last May with 2300 registered athletes, 450 more that last year, of 63 different nationalities (mainly of England and Germany) and is foreseen that a public of approximately 20.000 persons he|she|it witnesses the contest.
