The new Health Centre of sa Pobla opens today some more modern and comfortable facilities, which treble the surface|area of the ancient|antique building and almost duplicate the number of consultations|consultings|surgeries within reach of the professionals and of the patients.

The Ministry of Health and Consumption has made an investment|inversion of 3.336.668 euros for this new center, that it|he|she allows to give a better sanitary attention to the inhabitants of a zone of Mallorca that has tengut a growth of very important population in the last years.

The increase of spaces allows in the health centre to offer more healthcares, the most outstanding of which it will be the Unit of Salut Bucodental, that he|she|it will near the dental attention to the population of the basic zones of health of Pollença, Saffron, Navies, Muro and Torrent of Sant Miquel, as well as a room of minor surgery.

The new health centre increases the level of comfort for the user and allows some conditions of work better for the professionals. The number of consultations|consultings|surgeries becomes almost duplicated, since it|he|she has a total of 30 consultations|consultings|surgeries (until now it|he|she had only 13): 20 of medicine and infirmary|nursing of family (until now there were 10), 5 of pediatrics (until now there was only 1), 1 polyvalent consultation|consulting|surgery, 2 consultations|consultings|surgeries of odontology (until now there were not any), 1 area of physiotherapy (it|he|she keeps) and 1 area of godmother (it|he|she also keeps). Moreover, there is 1 room of extractions (the same as until now), 1 room of minor surgery (until now there were not any) and 1 room of cares|cures (that it|he|she keeps). The center has also a zone of admission and a zone of PAC.

The new building is placed in the street the Carriers, 119, and of Joan Pizà Massanet, 4, and it|he|she has a constructed surface|area of 2.777 m2 (the ancient|antique one had in 772) distributed in two plants|floors. It|He is organized in three pills of west in east and that are communicated through perpendicular distributors that they connect the different|distinct areas. This distribution allows short itineraries and a visual communication of all the center. The access is across the ground floor, where the administrative zones and the majority of the facilities and of the services are placed.
