Sixty sanitary professionals of the public areas and private of the Balearic Islands meet|gather today and tomorrow in Hospital General Mateu Orfila, in Maó, within the framework of X Conferences|Working Days of Transplantations Coordination of the Islands Balearic. This meeting|encounter has the objectives of analyzing the current situation of the donation of organs and fabrics|tissues and the state of the trasplantadora activity in the Balearic Islands and discussing different technical and professional aspects|looks related with the options of future that they consider to|in our community in this field.

The counselor of Health, Carmen Castro, accompanied by the autonomic coordinator of transplantations, Antoni Gayà, has opened the Conference|Working Day that they take place in Hospital General Mateu Orfila, of Maó.

During the inauguration, the counselor has recognized the figure of the coordinators of transplantations of the hospitals, since its|his|her|their fundamental task -he|she|it has suggested|said- is to detect the possible donors and to spread the culture of the donation to its|his|her|their centers.
