The counselor of Public Administrations, Simón Gornés, has presided over the Council|Piece of Advice of Coordination of the Local Policewomen of the Pitiüses, after a year and a half without summoning itself|himself|herself. To establish a regular calendar of meetings|encounters and to comply with what marks the BOIB has been one of the agreements of the meeting: this Council|Piece of Advice has left closed the calendar of work of the next 6 months, so many regarding the technical commission (that it|he|she has to make bimonthly meetings), how the político-tècnica commission (the Council|Piece of Advice of Coordination purely said), that he|she|it has to meet, at least, once each middle year.

In the meeting, the counselor of Public Administrations, Simón Gornés, has committed to|in all town councils having the necessary police endowment for ensuring the law and order, once he|she|it has listened to the representatives of the local policewomen of all the town councils of Eivissa and of the Council|Piece of Advice of Formentera.

In the line of guaranteeing the law and order, also during the touristic season, the Counselor has reminded the touristic police of 3,2 million euros of the Government having reserved a destined game|entry for this 2012 -for all the archipelago-, which|who guarantees the figure of these agents also in the Pitiüses. The town councils of Eivissa and the Council|Piece of Advice of Formentera have communicated already its|his|her|their intentions of touristic policemen recruitment for this year. Thus, Vila has manifested its|his|her|their intention of hiring 11 touristic policemen, Sant Josep 7, Sant Joan 2, Santa Eulària 6 and Sant Antoni 11. For his part, the Council|Piece of Advice of announced Formentera the intention of hiring 2 policewomen touristic.

The counselor of Public Administrations has presided over this Council|Piece of Advice of Police Coordination Pitiús, after having celebrated that of Menorca in November 2011. It is foreseen that, from the month of March, the several Police Councils|Advice|Pieces of Advice of Coordination of Mallorca start to be celebrated.
