The summer parenthesis|bracket passed, Emergencies 112 has resumed its|his|her|their program "112 at Schools" with an informative session developed at the English school The Academy, in Marratxí. Near a hundred pupils from 7 to 11 years they have taken part in the workshops and the interactive talk organized for the technicians of the System of Emergencies of the Balearic Islands 112 (SEIB 112), depending on the General Direction of Inside|Inland, Emergencies and Justice. The initiative intends to spread among|between the students of primary the use and the functioning|operation of the European only telephone of emergencies, as well as the culture of the prevention.

The workshops, organized by the smallest dolls, have consisted of the simulation of incidents (collapsed building, traffic accident, fire) and the assignment|allowance to the children of different roles to analyze together how an emergency is coordinated. Thus, the pupils who have taken part in the workshops have distributed themselves among firefighters, policewomen and health workers|toilets, while one of them has made the tasks of the telephonic business agent of the 112. This last, helped by one of supervisors of Emergencies 112, has kept on coordinating the different incidents that have been simulated, the necessary information collecting pear  the resolution of each of the incidents and mobilizing the most suitable resources|appeals. During the practice, the director of the SEIB 112, Isabel Juste, and its|his|her|their team|equipment, have they shared reflections on the use and the abuse of the only telephone of emergencies with the schoolchildren.

The activity has been completed with an interactive talk for the biggest|greatest pupils, during which, besides falling upon the functioning|operation of the 112, he|she|it has taken advantage to spread councils|advice|pieces of advice of selfprotection about the most frequent risks on the beaches and in the mountain. The schoolchildren have been very interested on knowing the peculiarities of the work that the professionals of the world of the emergencies develop, and have formulated many questions about concrete cases in which it is necessary to appeal in|on the only telephone of emergencies, about its|his|her|their volume of work or about the telephonic jokes|mists.
