The Diagnosis of innovation in the industrial pimes of the Balearic Islands intends to be a synthesis of the effort continued of the activities that, during period 2001-2010, have duit to|in term in this matter|subject the General Direction of Research, Technological Development and Innovation (at present, General Direction of Innovation and Technological Development), the General Direction of Industrial Promotion (at present, General Direction of Trade and Company), the IDI and the General Direction of Economy|Economics (at present, General Direction of Economy|Economics and Statistics), in collaboration with more than 150 pimes, the technological centers of the Balearic Islands, the FUEIB, the chambers of commerce, the entrepreneurial associations, and numerous entities related with the economy|economics of the Islands Balearic.
The Diagnosis is structured in seven chapters. In a first block|blog, the objectives, the methodology employed in the realization of the tasks and the general conclusions applicable to all sectors appear. Next, there is a second block|blog that contains the diagnoses of innovation of ten sectors:
1.    Agricultural sector
2.    Wine industry-related sector
3.    Textile elaboration|dressmaking
4.    Elaboration|Dressmaking in skin|leather
5.    Footwear and connected industries
6.    Jewelry, jewelry and objects of gift
7.    Wood and piece of furniture
8.    Auxiliary companies of the construction
9.    Metal
10.    Nautical sector
The third block|blog contains complementary information, as|like the relation|relationship of the agents of innovation, with a quite exhaustive relation|relationship of the entities implicated in the system of innovation in the Balearic Islands.
In every moment, the activities of the General Direction of Research, Technological Development and Innovation (at present, General Direction of Innovation and Technological Development) they have ordered of the cofunding of the General Direction of Regional Policy|Politics of the European Union. The economic|economical support has been achieved through the concurrence to|in the different calls of competitive helps to carry out projects of regional innovation at scale.
