Man Project, Red Cross Youth, ALAS (Association of Anti-Aids Fight), Well Friends (Lesbian, Gay, Transsexual and Bisexual association of the Balearic Islands) and the professional col•legis of Dietistes and Nutricionistes and of Qualified Persons and Qualified Persons in Social Work and Social Assistants of the Balearic Islands have signed today an agreement of col•laboració with the General Direction of Youth in order to give continuity during year 2011 al Punt of Advice of Young Health, a service that depends on the General Direction of Youth.

The general director of Youth, Joan Ferrà, its|his|her|their satisfaction for the signature of an agreement has manifested "that the consolidation of a project means that it|he|she started two years ago and that, even though it|he is coordinated by the public administration, the associations and the col•legis are professionals who take part in it those that form its|his|her|their vertebral column".

The STEP|PASSAGE, has explained he|she|it Bound with iron, "an assistance in health and healthy habits very different of the one that they can have from other services, as the public health can be, with many of means|media and a capacity of feedback and of very wide work" allows to face|give "to "the youngsters".

It is, to|in its|his|her|their judgement|trial, a matter of a "very useful" service, "to which many of youngsters who need advice and information go, and where they find an assistance very professional".

The STEP|PASSAGE replies the consultations|consultings|surgeries -presencials, way|railway telephonic or for electronic mail- of the youngsters of the Islands related with the sexuality; the prevention of drug addictions, the violence filial or of genre|gender, the HIV, the feeding and the diets.

Moreover, the STEP|PASSAGE has offered to demand|lawsuit of teaching institutions and to professional col•lectius linked to the juvenile world a total of 146 workshops. 37% of the imparted workshops has dealt with sexuality; 31%, about risks and prevention of the drug addictions; 23%, about feeding, and 9%, about prevention of the violence.

The object of this initiative of the General Direction of Youth is to promote healthy habits among|between the youngsters of the Balearic Islands. The service, which qualified staff offers, intends to promote the use of contraceptive methods, to warn behaviors of risk associated with the consumption about stupefacient substances, to inform about the harms of the tobacco addiction, to promote a healthy and balanced feeding as well as the practice of the physical exercise and, in general, to carry out directed actions|shares to favor healthy conduits|pipes through mechanisms authorized specifically for the youngsters.
