III Institutional Meeting of Quality of the Public Sector of the Balearic Islands

On the next 9 and 10 of November, within the framework of XVI European Week of the Quality and l'Excel•lència, the III Institutional Meeting|Encounter of Quality of the Public Sector of the Balearic Islands will take place in the building Jovellanos of the UIB, with the lemma "Difficult times, innovative solutions".
This meeting|encounter is organized for the Ministry of Presidency, the Ministry of Health and Consumption, the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Town Council of Palma and the University of the Islands Balearic, public entities that are part of the Forum Institutional of Quality.
The Institutional Forum of Quality is formed by fourteen public institutions of the three administrations (central, autonomic and local) and has as main objectives to promote the exchange of experiences about quality among|between the institutions, to organize activities that allow to improve the management|formality in a way continued to|in each institution and to promote and to spread the culture of quality and excel•lència among|between all the social states.
The former meetings|encounters were made in November 2005 and in December 2008. This third meeting|encounter has organized with the lemma "Difficult times, innovative solutions," in order to work about concrete ideas and applicable solutions.
The meeting|encounter is articulated in two elements:
- Some prizes to|in the good practices of management|formality addressed to the public administrations.
-Lectures and round tables of analysis of the challenges and the solutions that we have to face in this time|weather of economic|economical recession.
The candidatures to|in the prizes have to be shown|presented through a card that will be provided shortly. The good exposed practices will be able to be developed through the representation in a poster or with a public defense that will take place on the 9 of November. Both ways of presentation will be an object of autonomous prizes. The punctuation|score of the prizes, together with the appraisal of the card, will count for the general prize. The juries of these prizes will be formed by outstanding experts as private companies that have been rewarded with the Balearic Prize d'Excel•lència in the Management|Formality, which it allows to safeguard its|his|her|their independence in relation to the public organizations|organisms addressees|recipients of this recognition.
The lectures and round tables, open to any person interested in quality and excel•lència, will be carried out on the 10 of November.
