These projects are an initiative of the Government of the Balearic Islands thanks to which the autonomic administrations and the associations and private entities join its|his|her|their efforts to the persons to improve the attention with disability.

The Ministry of Inside|Inland, as responsible for the policy|politics of public employment|occupation (through the General Direction of Public Function and the EBAP) and conscious of the high number of persons with disability in unemployment and of its|his|her|their difficulties of incorporation to|in the job market, FIOP (Public Formation|Training- Integration- Employment|Occupation) carries out since|from year 1998 the projects.

To access these courses, the different calls are published in the main newspapers of the islands and it is communicated to the main entities of persons with disability.

FIOP and a FIOP-DIM are carried out 2 courses every year, with a total of about 100 pupils.

The two types of courses that they are carried out are:

COURSES FIOP of 500 hours of duration, of which 20% they are of theoretician and 80% sleep of practices to|in different public administrations. These practices are carried out in the way more individualized possible, depending on the formation|training, the capacities of each long-term pupil and objectives that have been proposed. Generally, the majority of pupils carries out practices in|on the bodies of administrative assistant and subordinate.

COURSES FIOP_DIM for persons with medium, consistent disabilities with light intellectual disabilities or limits and in severe or medium deep deafness prelocutives, of 300 hours of duration. They are carried out also in the same proportion (20% practical teòrica,80%) in an individualized way. The addressees|recipients are persons who, for its|his|her|their type of disability, do not have possibilities to study a program or to have responsibilities in the administration, and, however, auxiliary, mechanical or repetitive tasks in places of work can carry out patent medicines.
