The general director of Family, Social Welfare|Well-Being and Attention to Persons in Special Situation, Margarita Ferrando, has visited today the center by day of Formentera, that he|she|it attends|serves to dependent biggest persons -among others, affected by the illness of Alzheimer and other dementias- and to persons with disability.

Ferrando, together with the  director and manager of the Consortium of Sociosanitary and Welfare Resources|Appeals of the Balearic Islands, Javier Ureña, has kept a meeting with the counselor insular of Social Welfare|Well-Being, Youth and Equality, Dolores Fernández Tamargo. Afterwards, and with the responsibles of the social services of the Council|Piece of Advice and of the center by day, all three have visited the instal•lacions of this -opened a year ago- and the dependences from the social services.

The programs existing in Formentera on the subject of social services and the functioning|operation of the center have been by day two of the subjects treated by Margarita Ferrando and Dolores Fernández.
