The counselor of Public Administrations, Simón Gornés and the batles of 9 towns of Mallorca have gathered themselves to discuss the possibility to create the Council|Piece of Advice of Coordination of the Local Police of the South-East zone of Mallorca. The town council of Santanyí, which has acted as host of the meeting, he is one of the that part could|might be, together with those of Manacor, Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, Son Servera, Capdepera, Artà, Campos, Felanitx and Ses Salines.

The Council|Piece of Advice of Coordination of the Local Police of the South zone and East of Mallorca would be an organ formed by representatives of the Government of the Balearic Islands and of the mentioned towns, that it|he|she would have to plan and to coordinate the performances|actions on the subject of law and order of this zone as a purpose.

The Ministry of Public Administrations has proposed to create this organ since the existence of a territorial area has been determined with a problematic common derivative of the geographical, economic|economical, urbanistic, social and touristic reality of this zone. These common bonds make the coordination of its|his|her|their local policewomen be necessary.

Over the meeting the counselor Gornés has presided, accompanied of the General director of Inside|Inland, Emergencies and Justice, Isabel Febrer and the director of the Institute|High School of Public Safety of the Balearic Islands (ISPIB), Antoni Fiol.
