The Minister of Justice, Alberto Ruiz-Gallardon and the counselor of Public Administrations, Simón Gornés, have met today in Madrid to make on the day all subjects pending between both administrations. The meeting|encounter, which Gornés has qualified of cordial and very positive for the Islands, has finished with the commitment|appointment to the headline|holder of Justice of promoting the culmination or development of all the judicial infrastructures that at present they are budgeted and processed as it|he|she corresponds.

Ruiz-Gallardón has expressed its|his|her|their intention of traveling to Menorca before the next month of June to visit, precisely, the judicial building of Maó. The new infrastructure started to be constructed in 2010 with a budget of bidding of 5'4 millions of euros and he|she|it adjudicated|granted for the Ministry of Justice a year before for 5.167.855 euros in the company Vías y Construcciones, with a period of execution in 18 months. For the construction of this building the Town Council of Maó handed over a municipal site of 3.256 square meters.

Regarding the competences|competitions of Justice, the minister and the Counselor have agreed on the call of the different teams|equipments of work formed by both Administrations, with the objective of updating all the data related to the situation of this service in the Islands.

Regarding the cession of the competences|competitions of Justice, Ruiz-Gallardón, he|she|it has recognized that the current economic|economical situation is not the one more adapted to start a process of transfer, coinciding with the Government of the Balearic Islands, in which right now the endowment could|might be for under the real needs to assume the management|formality of the same one in the optimum conditions. In this way, the Minister of Justice has pointed out its|his|her|their disposal|disposition to start the process when the situation is the suitable one.
