The counselor of Tourism and Sports, Carlos Delgado, and the General Director of Promotion and Touristic Coordination, Jaime Martínez, they have met today the Assembly of the FEHM

After the first initial contact with the sector, that it took place in the Consulate of the Sea presided over by the President of the Government, José Ramón Bauzá, yesterday during a celebrated meeting|encounter in the one that also assisted Carlos Delgado, the counselor has moved to the headquarters|see of the FEHM to start the sessions of work and to pick up the main restlessness and suggestions of the sector. Carlos Delgado has highlighted that its|his|her|their intention is to turn on a line of work that is summarized in four basic points:

1.- Joint work with each touristic zone and the towns to carry out a promotion of the destination agreed on with the objective of putting all those products in value susceptible of generating a touristic benefit|profit.

2.- Starting immediately the works for the writing of the new Touristic General Law, with the objective of having a draft of the same one in the approximate deadline|installment of two months.

3.-Creació of new legislation or modification of the existing one for the shortening of the deadlines|installments, elimination of administrative obstacles|fetters and improvement of the juridical security|certainty (Law of the Ground, Environmental and of Impulse to|in the Investment|Inversion).

4.- Treatment of the mature touristic zones. In more of giving the definite impulse to the project of the Beach of Palma, the counselor has highlighted the need that other zones can have the same treatment. In this sense, Carlos Delgado has assured that the consensus with the sector will be fundamental to turn on this initiative.

In the next days the counselor will visit all the touristic zones of Mallorca and will meet the federations of Menorca and Eivissa and Formentera.
