The general director of Universities, Research and Transfer from the accompanied Knowledge, Miquel Deyà, of the authors of the work, Antònia Morey i Gabriel Jover, has presented the book 'The Majorcan possessions: spent|passed and present'.

This work collects the contributions made to the celebrated seminar about the difficulties of conservation of the architectural heritage|patrimony and agroecològic and about the uses and forms of traditional agricultural management|formality to last month Raixa of April 2011. The volume is structured in six sections, about which the talk was organized. The first includes studies about the origin and the meaning of the possession term; the second gathers together the contributions about the forms of management|formality of the farm resources|appeals and organization of the work during the modern age; the third dedicates itself|himself to the period of the Il•lustració; in the quarter the transformations introduced from the liberal land reform are approached; the fifth chapter is dedicated to the cultural, ethnographic and artistic legacy, and the last one collects the interventions about the recent uses of the Majorcan possessions, and measures or actions|shares are proposed there to preserve the cultural and natural heritage|patrimony.
