The Park of the Stations|Seasons of Palma will become the stage of two of the more important literary events of the city between the next 1st and 10th June: the XXX Book Fair and XXIII Week of the Book in Catalan, who organizes the Guild of Booksellers of Mallorca. The General Direction of Culture of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities takes part with the installation of an institutional stand to|in the Book Fair and with an economic|economical endowment that he|she|it will share between both events. For his part, the Institute|High School of Entrepreneurial Innovation of the Balearic Islands (IDI), organization|organism dependent on the General Direction of Trade and Company of the Economic|Economical Vice-Presidency of the Government, has collaborated in the organization of the Fair.

The general director of Culture, Isabel Cerdà, and the general director of Trade and Company, César Pacheco, they have attended today the press conference of presentation of the program of both meetings|encounters, together with the president of the Guild of Booksellers, Francesc Sanchís. To|In the event|act they have also been there present the vice president of Culture, Heritage|Patrimony and Sports of the Council|Piece of Advice of Mallorca, Joan Rotger Seguí, like this as|like the lieutenant of batle of Cultura and Esportsde the Town Council of Palma, Fernando Gilet.

This year, for first pike, the Book Fair and the Week of the Book in Catalan boards celebrate. The Book Fair will settle in the space where the clue|track of gel|ice for Christmas is usually assembled, in the zone that gives Marquès de la Fontsanta in the street, while the Week of the Book in Catalan paral•lel placed at the entry|ticket of the Intermodal station|season will be able to be visited in a space. The connection between both events will be that of an itinerary, although they will be differentiated.

The book fair will accommodate 28 stands  ila Week of the Book in Catalàcomp tarà  amb10 stands.

The programs of the Fair and of the Week complete with activities as|like the signature of books, talks, concerts, readings contacontes, etc. The timetable|schedule of opening will be 10.00 to 14.30 hours, and 17.00 in 21.00.

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities takes part, one year more, in these events, with the implication of all the general directions that has there ascribed, the Museum of Mallorca, the Archeologic Museum of Eivissa and Formentera, the Institute|High School of Balearic Studies and the Consortium for the Promotion of the Catalan Language|Tongue and the External Projection of the Culture of the Islands Balearic. As a matter of fact, it|he|she will be present there with a stand in which the publications that have edited the several organizations|organisms that depend on the Ministry will be offered the visiting public.

Likewise, in the Hall|Show of events|acts of the Fair, the 5 June at 20 hours, the counselor of Education, Culture and Universities, Rafael Bosch, it will show|present the book 'The Majorcan possessions' and on the 6 of June, at 19 hours, the IV volume will be shown|presented of the 'History|Story of the science: the 19th century, until the restoration'. The presentation will go general in charge of the director from Universities, Research and Transfer from the Knowledge, Miquel Deyà. This volume collects the great processes that will configure and will channel the development future of the science and of the technique and shows the degree of scientific knowledge that had the insular societies|companies of the moment.
