The Institute|High School of Secondary Education Sleep Pacs will impart, next course 2012-2013, the International High School|School Leaving Certificate of the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO), some studies of high performance academic and of recognized prestige that they guarantee the access to the university of any country of the world.
The International High School|School Leaving Certificate or Programa del Diploma has a duration of two academic courses and is compatible with the high school|school leaving certificate LOE. Because of that, the pupil who has done the International High School|School Leaving Certificate, on ending|finishing, will have two qualifications. In the case of the Balearic Islands, the Diploma has consideration of bilingual because is given|issued in the two official languages|tongues. Moreover, since May 2010, these qualifications convalida the entrance tests at the Spanish universities (PEACE).
The Program intends to favor the critical thought, to foster the civic ideals and to understand the education like a process, while he|she|it introduces the students in the world of the research and of the methods of work of the universities. It|He|She also includes the dedication of a time|weather to carry out creative activities and others on duty to|in the community.
The Program of the Diploma is imparted indistintament in private and public centers. At present there are eighteen public institutes|high schools of secondary education in the Spanish state that have implanted the International High School|School Leaving Certificate. The IES Son Pacs is the first center of the Balearic Islands where these studies can be done from next course 2012-13.
The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities has col•laborat with several economic|economical endowments to bring about this possibility, moreover it|he|she has formed the teachers responsible for imparting these qualifications from the next month of September.
