The accompanied Counselor of Education, Culture and Universities, Rafael Bosch, of the General Director of Culture and Youth, Isabel Cerdà, has presented the multidisciplinary work 'Faces Project' of the artist Bernardí Roig, who will expose himself to His|Her Llonja from the month of July. 'Faces Project' is a proposal that one big|great attractive combines for the citizens as well as for the visitors and a new step, unedited, in the work of Bernardí Roig.

As Bosch has explained, for the realization of the central axis|axle of this project the col•laboració of 1.700 volunteers will be necessary and, for this, the author asks for the civic participation|shareholding. Thus, on the 21, 22, 23 and 24 of this month of April, between 11 o'clock and 20 hours, a session of casting individualized among|between all volunteers will be carried out in His|Her Llonja that they want to take part in the project, that will have to be adult and wear|carry an identificatiu document.

The idea is to photograph each one of the 1.700 faces making one of the three gestures that will be proposed graphically, which are in the sculptural work of the baroque artist Franz Xaver Messerschmidt inspired. This material will be the central axis|axle of 'Faces Project', who|which will expose itself|himself|herself to His|Her Llonja at the beginning of the month of July and will be able to be visited until the month of November.

The whole|set of the images will turn up replayed in the catalog of the exhibition|exposure that will be edited on the occasion of the sample|exhibition. Moreover, once finished the exhibition|exposure and as a sample|exhibition of gratitude, all participants will receive an original serigraphy (70x70 cm) signed by Bernardí Roig with the image that will have been taken away from them to|in the session of casting.

Bernardí Roig (Palm, 1965) places the representation of the human figure in the epicenter of its|his|her|their problems, using a language of minimalist and conceptual inheritance through a multidisciplinary work. Its|His|Her|Their works have exposed in numerous museums and artistic centers of all the world, as|like the Kunstmuseum of Bonn, the BOZAR of Brussel•les, the IVAM of Valencia, the PMMK of Ostende, the Museum Carlo Bilotti  of Rome, the gallery the House of' Pesaro of Venice, the Saving Museum Dalí de Florida, the Triennale of Milan, the Cathedral from Burgos, the Spanish pavilion of the Expo 2010 (Shanghai) or the Castel dell'Ovo, to Naples, among others. He|She|It has also taken part in the 53 and 54 editions of the Biennial Exhibition of Venice.
