The vice president economic|economical, of Entrepreneurial Promotion and of Employment|Occupation, Josep Ignasi Aguiló, has visited today the MSEC Turanor PlanetSolart, the bigger solar boat|ship of the world and the first that the turn has completed in|on the planet propelled exclusively for photovoltaic energy, that for the first time he anchors in the Balearic Islands and, more precisely in Port Adriano, in the town of Calvià. During the event|act, the vice president has been accompanied by the general director of Industry and Energy, Jaume Ochogavía.

The catamaran will remain in the calvianera coast|shore until the next 7th July, within the framework of a journey for the Mediterranean that started in Barcelona on the last 20 of June.

The choice of Port Adriano as a place of reception of the boat|ship obeys|replies in what it|he is considered the most modern pleasure harbor of the Mediterranean and that EMAS has the European certification in recognition of its|his|her|their system of environmental management|formality.

The MSEC Turanor PlanetSolar intends to become the mobile embaixador of the renewable energies and to demonstrate the efficiency and the feasibility of the photovoltaic energy. With this objective, in the month of last May he|she|it concluded in Monaco a turn the world that he|she|it had initiated 19 months before.
