The accompanied president of the Balearic Islands, José Ramón Bauzá, of the counselor of Presidency, Antonio Gómez, has attended this noon to|in the meeting Brusel·les of the presidents of different autonomous communities organized by the president of the Board of Extremadura and head|boss of the Spanish delegation in the Committee of the Regions, José Antonio Monago. This meeting|encounter has tengut place before the beginning of the full session of the Committee of the Regions and has compat with the assistance of the autonomic presidents of Aragón, Luisa Fernanda Rudi; of the Comunitat Valenciana, Albert Fabra; of Múrcia, José Ramón Varcárcel, and of Navarra, Yolanda Barcina.

Next, the president Bauzà and the counselor Gómez have attended the full session of the Committee of the Regions in the European Parliament. This session has started, Herman Van Rompuy, about the economic|economical situation and the program for the growth, with a debate with the president of the European Council|Piece of Advice. Finally, the Committee of the Regions has adopted its|his|her|their position about the regulations proposed by the European Commission that regulate the structural funds through four dictamens that will struggle and will be voted along the full session. In this session, a total of 494 amendments, of which 107 have been shown|presented by the Spanish delegation, have been voted represented by Valencia, Extremadura, Aragó, Canàries and Castella-Lleó, some  of which they have received the support of the Balearic Islands.

Tomorrow, the Committee of the Regions will deal, among other subjects, with the reform of the Agricultural Policy|Politics Common (PAC). In this session, the president of the Balearic Islands, José Ramón Bauzá, will defend two amendments to|in the judgement to introduce a specific treatment for the insular regions in the PAC. These amendments have the support of other communities like Andalusia, Extremadura, País Basc, Valencia Canàries and Aragó. The Spanish delegation has shown|presented a total of 107 amendments of the 494 amendments shown|presented in total.

The president Bauzá attends in this Committee to defend the interests of the citizens of Balears and to take part in the negotiations actively with respect to the nearby pluriannual frame|mark 2014-2020 for the specific treatment for the Balearic Islands in the financial frame|mark of the UE, as for the regulations that regulate the European funds and in the reform of the Majority Agricultural Policy and the Fishing Policy|Politics Majority.
