The counselor of Presidency, Antonio Gómez, has visited this evening the Regional House|Home Múrcia in Mallorca. The counselor, accompanied by the general director of Cooperation and Immigration, Antònia Maria Estarellas, has been received by the president of the entity, Juan Pérez, and for the board of directors and he|she|it has signed in the distinguished visitor's book.

Of origin from Murcia, the counselor Gómez has expressed its|his|her|their satisfaction "in the one that is my first visit the House|Home of Múrcia. It|He|She has been an emotional event|act for me on seeing the good work that my civilians do to bring over the traditions and the culture of the earth|lands from Murcia in Mallorca". From its|his|her|their band|side, the president of the House|Home of Múrcia, set up in 1976, has commented that "it is an honor and a pride for Murcians to have received today a Murcian with a so important charge|post in the Government of the Balearic Islands".

With about 200 associates, the House|Home of Múrcia has a great activity along the year: workshops of Majorcan embroidery, dance of hall|show, bonfire for Sant Sebastià, annual visit to Múrcia coinciding with the Parties|Holidays of Spring or the Day of the Community, that is celebrated on the 9 of June, but that this year the Murcians rooted in Mallorca will celebrate on the 10th.
