Sixty persons have told to the organized sea about the 1st of August to|in the simulation of accident and spill of pollution in Santa Eulària del Riu (Eivissa) for the general direction of Inside|Inland, Emergency and Justice of the ministry of Public Administrations. To|In the simulation, that Isabel has counted on the operating technical direction of the counselor of Public administrations, Simón Gornés, and the general director of Inside|Inland, Emergencies and Justice, February, he|she|it has taken so part, besides the technicians of this General Direction: the SEIB112, the Local Police and Civil Protection of Santa Eulària, the service of rescue of the beach, the SAMU061, Maritime Rescue, Maritime Captaincy, Demarcation of Coasts|Shores, Red Cross, and the squad of works and services of the town council.

The simulation was about an incident with an important spill of pollutants in the sea that it|he|she affected in a located zone; this situation is considered a level 1 of the Flat CAMBAL (Special Plan of Contingencies for Accidental Pollution of Sea Waters). The supposition has started with the called|shouted one of an individual alerting smoke and injured people about the col•lisió of two vessels of amusement in the surroundings of the pleasure harbor of Santa Eulària del Riu, with fire. The SEIB112 has started off the foreseen protocol for "Vessel sea. Accident with Ferits"(1 10-2). Equally, the lifeguard of the Beach has informed in the SEIB112 that has also seen the accident and that there was a vessel set fire to that is spilling products in the sea. With the binoculars they could see themselves that between both vessels there were 8 crew members.

From this moment, the plan CAMBAL has been activated and the performances|actions have started to evacuate the injured people, in this case six, to contain the spill through the deployment from the barriers absorbent, and to extinguish the fire. All the performances|actions carried out, as well as the deployment of the different resources|appeals, (ambulances, point of advanced medical attention, unit of the GEAS, vessel of SASEMAR, and of others) they have been worn|carried to|in term with very good coordination, and it|he|she has finished with success.
