Arbona, together with the counselor of the Department of Environment of the Council|Piece of Advice of Mallorca, Maria Magdalena Tugores, has accompanied the technicians of Fishing of the Government who will carry out the project at an exit to the sea to see the three computers submersible like instal•len been in charge of registering the movement of the dolphins.

This project is cofunded by the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands and the European Union and has a duration of three years. The POD incorporates filters to select the several frequency bands of the spectre|spectrum of the sound and can be programmed with different protocols to optimize the detection of the clicks of a species in particular. In this case, the PODs have been programmed for detecting the clicks of the mule dolphin. The computer records the sounds and will allow to know among other things, if the dolphins use the sea reservation|booking only at the same time|on the way or if they also feed there.
