The surgical services of the public hospitals closed the first term of 2011 with a surgical average of delay|dilatoriness of 51,40 days in the waiting lists. Some data that place the average of 6,35 days for under the delay|dilatoriness shown|presented to the same term of year 2010.

According to the data brought by the Service of Health of the Balearic Islands, to|in date of 31 March 2011 there were 11.993 persons to|in the waiting lists surgical (LEQ). 805 persons are less of those that waited to the same term of 2010, for what represents a slope of 6,2% of persons who wait. Finally, the Local Hospital of Inca had a surgical waiting list of 1.179 persons, with an average of delay|dilatoriness of 48,08 days, 14,57 days less than to the first term of 2010.

In Menorca, the Hospital General Mateu Orfila had 981 patients and an average of delay|dilatoriness of 48,83 days, what means a slope of 2,28 days with respect to the delay|dilatoriness of March 2010.

Regarding the Pitiüses, the Hospital Can Misses, of Eivissa, she|it counted 1.032 persons in the waiting lists surgical, with 45,90 days on average of delay|dilatoriness, 19,97 days less that in the first term of 2010; and the Hospital of Formentera closed the first term of 2011 with 21 persons waiting to be operated, with an average of delay|dilatoriness of 24,47 days, 4,92 days less than the same term of the former year.
