The room of management|formality of phoned about of the System of Emergencies of Balearic Islands 112 it|he|she will count with the presence of the telephonic business agents of the Firefighters of Mallorca. In this way, the Firefighters of Mallorca will pass to being the first organization|organism that integrates physically in the system of management|formality of Emergencies 112, in application of the autonomic and European regulations, according to which telephone 112 constitutes the only system of reception and management|formality of the ones phoned about of emergency|urgency and emergencies in the area of the Balearic Islands.

The General Direction of Emergency Inside|Inland and Justice and the Insular  Direction of Emergencies  of the Council|Piece of Advice have maintained the last months conversations to sign an agreement of collaboration between the two institutions that this integration allows. With her is pursued to accomplish with what establishes the mentioned regulations and to improve the necessary effective coordination of the different services of emergency|urgency, at the same time that to optimize resources|appeals and to avoid the duplicities that are generated with the coexistence of different telephone exchanges.

The firefighters of the Council|Piece of Advice of Mallorca, to the the same as other 47 organizations|organisms of emergencies were already integrated in the platform of management|formality of the SEIB 112, but this integration was technological, through telematic systems (33 of them through a telephonic terminal type PDA). The transfer from the Headquarters of Communications of the Firefighters of Mallorca and of its|his|her|their operators in|on the same headquarters|see of the Center of Emergencies SEIB 112 will represent important advantages not only for the coordination, but also for the service of Firefighters of Mallorca.     

The use of the teams|equipments and technical support of which he orders the SEIB 112 will allow the operators of the Firefighters of Mallorca to access to|in some technological means|media very superior|upper to those that at present they use in a permanent way and without the need for making new investments|inversions. Thus, the integration of the ones called|shouted of the headquarters of emergencies in the system of the 112 it|he|she will endow the service of functions firefighters like: cartography, location of the ones called|shouted of mobile telephony, communication among|between the different services of emergencies, writing of statistics and reports of a fast way accidents for the courts and the insurers, maintenance of all operating systems, duplicity of systems and of electrical feeding in the event of breakdown|failure, and service of interpreters in English|Englishman and German.

All these improvements will allow, in short, to reduce the time|weather of answer to the called|shouted ones that have to be attended|served to by this service of firefighters, as well as to improve the quality of the loaned service.

The agreement, which will soon be signed, represents a cost zero for both administrations, since its|his|her|their objective is to optimize resources|appeals.  Its|His|Her|Their validity will be from December of 2016, with annual renewal, since the 1st January of 2012 until the 31st.
