FLAG OF THE BALEARIC ISLANDS

The Flag of the Balearic Islands is composed of distinctive symbols legitimized historically and it is constituted by four horizontal red bars on a yellow background with a quarter placed in the top left part of a purple background and a white castle of five towers in the middle (article 6 of the Statute of autonomy of the Balearic Islands).

SHIELD OF THE AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY OF THE BALEARIC ISLANDS

The Shield of the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands is a symbol that represents the personality and the historical own identity of each one of the islands of the Balearic archipelago. Its shape and elements are regulated by the Law 7/84 of 21st of November, concerning the Shield of the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands.
